I’ve been shooting more black and white and i wish for once i could get some developing right. I always seem to have random porblems. This time it was with neopan 400 (which i will discuss later) while some shots were okay, many had weird black dots that didnt look like light leaks, ruining many shots. Anyway, I’ve now gone through my workflow and quality assured everything, my next rolls should be fine, and its worth using a little more fixer (ie less re-using) or whatever in order to get absolute consistency and no weird inexplicable fuck ups.
Onto neopan, I love it. I think im just not a trix guy, too thin. I love the thickness of delta and neopan and plusx. Despite weird streaks etc, neopan was well exposed with consistent tones and nice grain and nice lattitude.
Here is will with his new jumper. The hood zips up to create the effect. You see the streaks if you look.

More will. Obvious streaks. His face is behind a pineapple.

My street. Neopans tones deliver with a nice exposure…

Here is a dog. Attacked by white streaky spectres. Damn.

I just saw this. Look to my last post to realise why this happened

Some bird. Negs still screwed funnily enough.

Des. Negs are screwed, but this still goes in the win comlumn because is looks like it’s snowing. Obviously a rare occurence (never) where I hail from.

Pigeon Lady.

TIME LAPSE, since the last time i was writing this, christ:

I am tempted to entitle my blogs with celebrity names if it will bring in the traffic like that!
Here is a new way that i might display my photos, with bleeding edges and borders, not bad.
TMAX 400:

Here is a nice shot I think, needs real print though.

Walking my brother home. He hurt his ankle, I figured I’d shoot it to make a mini-series, see what happened. So they are entitled-
HURT ANKLE:

SOLUTION (riding skateboard veteran style):

On another note, it’s worth reading about the treatment of war veterans in the USA. Being born there I like to follow what’s going on and after reading some articles, the situation seems abhorrent to me.
Anyway, DES:

Hipshot. Focus pretty good for 2.8. Guessed exposure too and that was nice.

A wall of mist, with a screensaver projected onto it.

Australian gardens. Drought you see.

More tmax, a later roll. Some nice shots here I think
Hmm, maybe a bit too early on the shutter here:

lens resolves the tones nicely here but I’m not sure if I like pole in her face or not…

I was well pleased with this. Taken on way home from… something, musical rehearsal maybe.

This guy’s plates… Hmm. I guess he was from Crete, but surely any native english speaker looks at this and thinks, cretin.
Ahhh, nothing like a nicely exposed tmax neg. Only covered in dust and shit…

BORING:

more bores…

yawn:

Waiting for the two pussies on the left to fall off a fence. (don’t ask why..)

Tri-x -
Some photo’s these days you just take for no reason, usually boring.

This corresponds to a similar photo i have somewhere.

and finally. moon got a bessa. and tied his shoe!

Wow, mammoth entry. There you go. More soon I think.
Keep it real.
